Supporting & Buying Contemporary Israeli Art

Since October 7th, 2023, Israel has gone through its worse times with the ongoing war, the hostages held in Gaza, the hundred of thousands Israelis evacuated from their homes in the South and North of Israel and the saddening fact that 2024 will be ‘year of war’ . We are aware that this war is effecting not only Israelis but Jews worldwide with a daily struggle in antisemitism, yet we hope that the international Jewish communities are resilient and vigorous, and will overcome these outbursts of hatred.

Now more than ever is a time to learn and explore Contemporary Israeli art, and express support in the local Israeli art field, which has almost seized to exist due to the current circumstances, effecting many local artists and art institutions. This solidarity with Israel brings not only support but much needed optimism.

We are happy to offer our art consulting services by introducing amazing Israeli artists and assisting in art purchases as per your interest, taste and budget. The selection of artists is vast, far beyond the scope of Fireflies Project artists. All the artists are based in Israel, either emerging, early career or mid career, Jewish, Christian or Muslim, working in various techniques - painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, collage, print, mixed media and more.

We make sure that the works are in a wide price range, that is approachable and attractive, starting with prices under $1,000 for works on paper and original prints.
